My favorite project to make is crocheted bracelets with seed beads, but those white with red and blue stripes Preciosa Czech Rocaille seed beads are calling out to me to make a different king of bracelet with them!
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna have to choose good ole' versatile Fire-Polished... definitely the workhorse of the Czech beads for me... and they "deliver" every time in the great contribution they make to the piece you're working on. 'Course, I'd better publish this fast 'cause at any given moment something else could pop into my mind... a clear evidence that they're all great!
ReplyDeleteseed beads are always my first choice, but I am experimenting with many of the new ones...tilas and peanuts and berries!!! Don't think there is a bead I don't like!!!

ReplyDeleteYou can't beat the cones either. The silver (http://best-beads.com/44267.html)andblack AB half-coated (http://best-beads.com/pressed-beads/cones/44375.html) are especially fine, as are some of the buttons, particularly http://best-beads.com/buttons/vb3067-10.html, http://best-beads.com/buttons/vb291-10.html and http://best-beads.com/buttons/vb066-10.html.
I've not seen this online seller before but I'll be placing an order in an hour or so, as soon as I've checked my supplies and gone through their catalogue.
Thanks for showcasing the site.:-)

ReplyDeleteLately been drawn to the table cut beads. I'm in love with two tones and the "neutral" element in these usually makes them easier to pair
Hello, my name is Tiziana ( tiziana@cityweblivorno.it) this is the first time I participate in a "competition" on the web, but always carefully follow the Blog Ispirational Beading because I find it very well designed and truly capable of giving inspiration to my projects. I love to make jewelry soutache and beads and then in the site best-beads.com I can find many products that I needed. I can not say which product is my favorite .. they all are, my attention goes mainly towards ALL Fire Polished Beads .. charming and indispensable. The colors ... those who remember my Tuscany: the sea, the countryside, the hills, the sun and then the blue, green, orange and gold. It 's all. Ciao e grazie!!
ReplyDeleteOoh what an exciting giveaway!!!!! Thank you for sharing your best beads with us your inspired readers ;)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the glass buttons that best beads produce... I know not strictly 'beads' but they just caught my eye as soon as I opened the websites home page.... The pic they have actually ties in beautifully to the colors of sead beads they've generously donated as the prize for this competition ;) I couldn't find a similar design in the rest of their bead range and couldn't help wondering if there is a opportunity for them to make buttons with holes which can be strung or flat ones with no brass hook which can be used for cabochons...??
Funny enough I recently started following your inspirational posts (and am really enjoying them thanks!!) but I wanted to message you and ask which brand of czech beads you use as I'm battling to locate a supplier of Czech beads in south Africa where I live... I had just found someone upcountry who imports Preciosa beads and then I saw them on your post! Do you use any other brands of Czech beads too? Thanks :) michelle.gibbs7{at}gmail.com
oooooooooooooooo! I love them all. The buttons are wonderful. Can never have too many beads.
ReplyDeleteknew4@verizon.net
I love the table-cut picasso beads. I'm dying to get my hands on some eventually, when I can justify buying them.
ReplyDeleteSeed beads for they are so versatile. You can use them for jewelry making, to accent a cross stitch pattern, just about anything goes :)
ReplyDeleteSeed beads have to be my favorite - you can never have too many and after that, I love daggers and I am dying to try the twins or super duos.
ReplyDeleteFavorite beads? Right now it's Black with Copper 2Way Faceted Picasso Fire Polished Beads 8x6mm. Just yummy. Great accent for...something!
