ReplyDeletemy favorite winter colour is periwinkle blue. reminds me of snow shadows! It's also the colour of the world as the sun is coming but not up in my part of Canada during the winter.
ReplyDeleteHere in the South we don't see a lot of winter whites so my favorites for December are umber, wheat and shades of brown.
ReplyDeleteThe white, black and gray of the birch trees against the "almost-baby-blue" of a clear sky, softened with the blue-gray of long shadows on the snow and sprinkled with tiny AB crystals to twinkle in the sunlight...the day after the storm. Sigh...I do miss Wis. winters!

I like silver and forest green. There's something about snow on a pine tree that I love! Throw a hint of red in there and it's almost Christmas-y but still works for a winter palette of holly.
ReplyDeleteI love deep red and gold, celebration colors, but also clear blue and sparkly white, like fresh fallen snow on a crisp cold morning.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice giveaway! My favorite winter palette is silver with a sharp aquamarine.
