Every beader knows that there’s no such thing as too many beads. The more you’ve got, the more choices you have when designing amazing jewelry. Great tools are also a must, whether they help you visualize your next design, or provide a professional finish to your pieces.
I am very pleased to present an amazing beading kit giveaway that is sure to inspire some amazing designs! You might already be familiar with indie bead shop Beads and Babble, which has a truly amazing selection of unique Czech glass, seed beads, and findings. Owner and curator Shannon has put together two amazing bead starter packs for hungry beaders!
Each pack includes a bead board, nipper tool, crimping pliers, beading wire, and oodles of amazing beads. There are seed bead hanks, gemstone beads, glass accents, and pendants; rounds, tubes, daggers, and so much more! Each kit includes an abundance of inspiration to make some show-stopping designs, all hand-picked for you by Beads and Babble.
How to Enter:
For a chance to win one of the kits shown, visit Beads and Babble and check out the gorgeous array of beads available. Then head back here to InspriationalBeading.Blogspot.com and leave a comment on this post, letting us know what your favorite is. Anything goes!
Due to the very large size of the prize packs, this draw is open to readers from the US. Two lucky readers will be drawn on Saturday, November 21st. Please make sure to leave a contact link or email with your comment so that I can reach you if you win! Unclaimed prizes will be re-drawn on November 25th.

ReplyDeleteWas it just me, or does that website smell like patchouli? ;)
ReplyDeleteThe very first page of beads just took me rigt on down memory lane. I have never seen such a huge selection of "retro" beads. I could just get lost on that site. I would LOVE to win one of the prizes, but even if I don't, i know where I will be spending my bead allowance next month ;)

ReplyDeleteThe selection of beads and of antiqued base metal findings and components in various finishes is impressive. I particularly liked the Dragonfly carved handmade ox bone beads and immediately envision them as part of a bead embroidered collar. The coral, turquoise, and brass handmade Tibetan tube beads would work nicely in the same collar. Now to find the perfect cabochons .... AZ

Beautiful beads! Opaque Caribbean Blues
ReplyDeleteSeriously, I'd never heard of Beads & Babble, but thankfully, I'm learning from you who to look at. I love their huge selection. I even favorited a few items. I really like the copper rose/flower caps and the copper links (g348). My imagination is working over time!! I loved the Czech Green Opal Spindle Glass (bw326). I'll be looking to them for some unique beads. The prices are good too. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, this would be an awesome birthday gift (for me, of course) :D
hrdreams2015@gmail.com
Absolutely gorgeous! I especially love all of the unique finishes. I look forward to buying from this awesome bead store!
ReplyDeleteHow can I pick a favorite? The blue crazy lace agate strands with the different size beads in the strand are so nice. Plus the metal links for earrings and pendants really caught my eye along with the tulip shaped bead caps. The glass beads in all the different colors and sizes are really unique, too.
ReplyDeleteAll of them are nice and pretty.
ReplyDeletecpasgrave@gmail.com
I've never been to beads and babble before. What. Treat! The variety is really refreshing. I love your array of antique metals.
ReplyDeleteI also noticed quite a variety of blue beads and blues are so hard to match to anything because of the many hues. I will shop here often. Thank you for another alternative in bead buying.
Cindy.kosmerchock@yahoo.com
It's nearly impossible to pick a favorite. I love the owls and the colors especially the turquoise, ruby and lilac beads and how they will look with brass findings. I would love to win these beads.
ReplyDeleteSusan.greider@gmail.com
I love the big blue (cab?) top middle right! A lovely selection all together, so generous!

Oh, free beads! I love the beautiful table-cut swallow beads, and the picasso (any color!) seed beads (any size) and... heck, I like them all. But the best part of B&B is Sharon herself, I am a happy customer. Super friendly, great customer service. Her website makes me smile (and wish for a much bigger beading budget). Thanks Sharon.
ReplyDeleteSo many pretty beads! I like the long bugle beads and the multi-strand box clasps. Those are hard to find at a good price. Thank you!

But the Beauty drew me back and I REALLY LOVE ALL of what Beads and Babble has to offer. I KNOW my Sisters @ Pine Ridge & Cheyenne River would LOVE to get this VERY Large Beading kit for the Holidaze. saraherc5@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI am nuts about all the picasso finish seed beads, which I use a lot in in hand knotted necklaces using Irish waxed linen. I also love all the unique earring findings - so many cool shapes to play with that make for very unique designs. I also found gold English cut beads here that I used to make my D-I-L's wedding necklace. This is one of my very fave Etsy shops! liseandersonrfd@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the selections, the bright blues grab me right away. Perhaps a beaded braid between each day f the square beads? A challenge to use all the beads this winter. I don't do face book but it would be nice to see one project from the collection from each winner. Amazing how color combinations come from other beaders. Please lucky winners, share one project made with this collection.

SO I checked out Beads and Babble and they do have a wonderful selection of very different beads. That is one of the things I love about beading is that when you are looking for a unique bead to finish a piece. There are so many independent people who also love to share and create that all I have to do is check out a few blogs and then click into a shop like Beads and Babble and there I find the beads I need to finish that piece I have been searching hi and low for a certain mushroom colored bead!!! Thanks so much to both of you!!!
ReplyDeleteOMG! Beads and Babble is only my most favorite shop on all of Etsy!!! I love so many of their beads and components that I can't pick a favorite. gdmar@comcast.net
ReplyDeleteMy favorite bead is the 8/0 Milky Peridot Silver Lined TOHO Glass Seed Beads 10 Grams (DS350)
ReplyDeleteMy name is Elsa Carrillo

My one vice...BEADS!!!!
ReplyDeleteBEADSANDBAUBLE have so many beads that I could work into so many of my on-going projects, it's hard to pick a favorite!.
One that stuck me were the strands of 5/O Opaque Bohemian Gypsy Picasso (they even offer the 2/O)
I'm bananas for Picasso :-)
https://www.etsy.com/listing/231203264/50-opaque-bohemian-gypsy-picasso-mix?ref=shop_home_active_4
Thanks for highlighting this store on your blog; I don't think I have heard of them before. There's so many goodies there, it's hard to choose! But I think if I had to choose my favorite, it would be the transparent opaline teal/aqua/lavender Picasso Czech birch leaf beads. With their colors and especially with the Picasso finish, they make me think of leaves carpeting the forest floor. I have a lot of Czech leaf beads, and I've got the sudden urge to go make a mix that would be good for a woodland-y necklace. I may need to make a foresty weekend project.
ReplyDeleteHappy beading!
-Olivia (you have my e-mail)
I love the 6/0 teal picassos!
ReplyDeletehdoblack - at - hotmail.com
I went over to Beads and Baubles and I liked the Victorian Pink Etched Picasso Mix Different Shapes and Size Czech Glass Beads 1 Strand (DW177). I like pink as a color and this mix looks like it has a mauve tone. But, at the same time, the striped makes it upbeat instead of overly romantic.
